Hello Sundance Swimmers and Families,

I hope you've all had a wonderful summer with your respective teams. I've been on lots of pool decks this summer and have seen enthusiastic volunteers, motivated swimmers, and excellent coaching. Each swimmer has no doubt made remarkable progress! 

Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered, packed backpacks and coolers, awakened sleepy children, washed towels, and forced wet swimsuits on little bodies leftover from the day before :). To our older swimmers - especially those that can drive - big kudos to you. You do this because you want to, and because the people in your lives make you want to be better. There is huge reward for you in that, and it will serve you far beyond swimming. 

I'm so proud to be associated with the Sundance Aquatic Association, especially as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary! Please read the reminders below, and take them to heart.

• Please do not arrive prior to 6:30 a.m. If you choose to arrive that early for set-up, please remain outdoors in the grass on the south side of WMAC. Meet set-up will be happening inside the pool area. 
• Heed the guidelines set in place for entrances, exits, bathroom use, etc. 
• Heed the announcer's request to be quiet at the start. Don't be the cause of a swimmer false-starting or missing a start altogether. 
• Please do not congregate in the walkway between the pool and the bleachers. It is very tempting, especially during relays. If you do, you will be asked to move. 
• Be respectful of and kind to the volunteers. They have offered their time for your kids. 
• No flash photography
